That darn public school education of mine. I think was cheated. In all those Social Studies classes, you'd think that at some point we would have learned about the section in the Constitution that says the President can do whatever the heck he wants. Maybe I skipped that day, but I think they just left it out altogether, just like they skipped the Intelligent Design section in the biology book. I guess I'm lucky I even got into college with such a spotty education.

Whidbey was a long road, which came directly after the long road that was VS2003/.NET 1.1, which came directly after the longer road that was VS7.0/.NET 1.0. Three products in 7 years (that's not very many). And while running Windows Forms definitely had it's share of upsides, it came with a fair amout of overhead too (see this post for some details). One of the tough things about Windows Forms is that not only did you have to be compatible with your old versions, but you had to be compatible with behaviors...

In a nutshell, I've changed roles and buildings here at MS (I'll elaborate later), training like mad for the new bike racing/tri season (hmm....new bikes?), and been trying to find time to spend with the Xbox 360, which doesn't happen much. ...
